Project 

Accessible Digital Futures (ADF) is a project exploring how digital technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can transform accessibility in higher education.

The aim is to stimulate conversations that will inform policy, procurement, adoption, and development of digital technologies that promote accessibility across the sector.

Objective

The first ADF workshop identified six objectives: 

1. Promote digital and AI skills

2. Devise and adopt a sectoral procurement standards framework

3. Ensure student input

4. Devise and adopt human-centred policies

5. Facilitate sectoral collaboration

6. Build institutional capacity

Activities

The first workshop on AI, Accessibility, and Higher Education: Unlocking the Potential was held in London on 28 February 2024. You can find the workshop report here. 

Upcoming events: 

An online conversation in April 2024

An in-person workshop on procurement in June 2024
