Executive Director Ann Kristin Glenster, attended a Digital Trade Roundtable convened at the Blavatnik School of Government at Oxford University to discuss the path forward for the US and digital trade and the impact of AI on the copyright and creative industries.

In September 2024, Glenlead Executive Director, Dr Ann Kristin Glenster, attended a two-day roundtable at the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford. Bringing together leading UK-based academics, representatives from the US Department of Trade, and US Trade Ambassador Katherine Tai, the roundtable explored issues regarding digital trade and intellectual property.

Ann Kristin presented her original research on the impact of generative AI on the creative industries, and what this meant for copyright on both sides of the Atlantic. Following from the roundtable, Ann Kristin has been invited to deliver two workshops to key stakeholders in Washington DC in November 2024.

The roundtable was under Chatham House rules.
